On The Government Credibility Building-up In The Ethnic Minority Areas

Government public credibility is an important concept that measures the credit standing of government. Among the whole social credit system, as the guarantee and support of social credit system, government credit stands in the core position. The government public credibility is a barometer of its economic social credit, which directly reflects the credit situation of a country and has great influence on its politics, economy, culture and development of society.For the time being, the government public credibility in our country is keeping improving on the whole, especially the central government has earned exceptional advocacy. However, the public credibility of some local governments is developing in an unbalance way. The government public credibility in some areas including few regions of minorities develops in a weakened trend. The failure of government in credibility is manifested in following ways:the discredit of government officials, the discredit of government action, the short supply of public goods, the information distortion of government, etc.Since the remotest times, China has been a unitary multinational country. Region of minorities is an indispensable component of the big family of motherland. And most of regions of minorities in our country locate in the border area and are less developed. The republic need in region of minorities is changing deeply, with the transformation of the economic society in all-aspects, which objectively needs government to hold the 'people-oriented'idea, to optimize the government function, to improve the management style, and to provide people with public goods and services in higher quality and higher efficiency. Therefore, the improvement of government credibility in region of minorities is an important part of construction of'service-oriented'government in China. Promoting the construction of government public credibility in region of minorities is beneficial to the developing of the economy in region of minorities. It also contributes to harmony of the national relationship.Based on the construction of government public credibility of local government in region of minorities and the analysis of its constructing situation and existing problem, this essay explores the reason of these existing problems and proposes strategies and suggestions to improve the government public credibility of local government in region of minorities.
