The Study On Cultivating Underpinning Tourism Industry Of Gansu Minorities Areas

New underpinning industry will have to be cultivated urgently to promote the sustainable development of the social economy due to the decline of the animal husbandry and processing industries of both farm and animal products originally significant for the national economy in the minorities areas of Gansu Province in the face of the tendency towards the global economic unification in the 21th century. Along with the industrialization of the manufacturing, selling and circulating processes of the products and the precise division of labor in the wider range, rules can be bent and first priorities should be given to the cultivation of the super industries with characteristics and the development of the local economy depending on the favorable conditions for making some areas prosperous.Based on the trend toward developmental tourism market both at home and abroad and the dynamic consumption of the residents and with the advantage of tourism resources, support will have to be offered to the travel industry by the minority counties and prefectures affiliated to Gansu Province, which subjectively shows the strong wish to develop the travel industry as the underpinning industry and objectively reveals the fundamental basis for developing the industry. With the policies made for the western development, enthusiasm for investing in the travel industry of the minorities areas of Gansu Province and developing the underpinning travel industry has become the strategic choice of achieving the aims of making the local economy flourishing and keeping the society stable.However, more problems still exist in developing the travel industry from the prospective on the situations of the areas compared with those of the other areas, as the result, the traditional models will have to be eradicated so that great strides will be made in the cultivation of the underpinning travel industry.On the basis of the theories of the underpinning industries, the article makes an exhaustive analysis of the inevitability and feasibility of developing the underpinning travel industry in the minorities areas of Gansu Province, systematically raising the such strategies for ensuring the underpinning travel industry as the comprehensive travel, governmental leadership, designing guidance, excellent products, sustainable development and innovative mechanisms and mainly discussing the key issues of guiding thought, strategic aims, strategic procedures and main contents for developing the underpinning travel industry in the areas.
