The Entrusted Management Of Non-profit Theatres

This article discusses the entrusted management of Non-profit theatres. In the first part, it begins with the analysis of the meaning of the Non-profit artistic organizations in China. On the one hand, it discusses the situation of the development of the theatre management theories internationally, and via the analysis of the characteristics of the mature operation overseas, tries to form the basic structure and key elements of the entrusted management of Non-profit theatres. On the other hand, via the research of current situation of the cultural development and restructuring in China, this article discusses the influence over the theatre management, and the positive effects of the entrusted management.The second part of this article is mainly a case study, which is about the entrusted management of Shanghai City Theatre. With the brief introduction of the early stage of its operation and management situation, and the comparison with international successful models in theatre management, it tries to prove the key value and importance of the entrusted management to the Non-profit theatres.
