| With the development of teaching Chinese as a foreign language (TCFL), the teaching of vocabulary has attracted more and more attention from the educators and researchers. However, due to the complexity of Chinese words and the interference of the foreign learners'mother tongue, there still lie many problems in the teaching of vocabulary in TCFL. Therefore, many scholars and researchers have turned their research interest to the teaching strategies of Chinese vocabulary, with a view to establishing a universally applicable vocabulary teaching mode for foreign Chinese learners, so that they might accurately understand and communicate with Chinese the language.But owing to the differences the foreign Chinese learners possess in different stages of learning and the vocabulary manifests in different phases, the teaching mode for Chinese vocabulary for foreign learners should also be varied. By incorporating results of the former researches, Through a contrastive study of the learners and vocabulary in different periods of Chinese teaching for foreign learners, too. the thesis explores the field of Chinese Vocabulary teaching as a foreign language in the elementary and intermediary and advanced stages, hoping to contribute a little bit in the teaching practice and theoretical research of TCFL. |
