Some of the scholar's images created by opera and novels in the Yuan and Ming dynasty, which was a little bit different from real history. The operas and novels about Tao Yuanming of Yuan and Ming are classified to three categories, for instance"Tao Yuan Ming Dong Li Shang Ju". In the works Tao was described as person who stands head and shoulders above all others and was quietly elegant, and the Shangri-la which Tao pursued was retrospected as well. There were 5 types of works related to Li Bai, for example Story about"Li Tai Bai Pi Pei Jin Qian Ji". Nonetheless, they described Li as a scholar full of wit, a madman despising the dignitary, an inspiring person criticizing the evils, a knight-errant giving liberally to poor, a hermit who was not ambitious and a faerie addicted to alcohol. There were six types of operas and novels depicting Su Shi, like"Su Zi Zhan Feng Xue Bian Huang Zhou". Su was portrayed as sorehead, unrestrained, calm-head, broad-minded, honesty and frank, which was a little bit different from real history. Concerning Liu Yong, there were four sorts of operas and novels like"Qian DaYin Zhi Chong Xie Tian Xiang". Scholars drew Liu as a given devoted lover, a dredging madman, a righteous man who doesn't desire payback and a stylish hermit. While Combining the historical records to shape the previous scholars, they adapted on the scholar's experiences and rich in works such as plot legend. That made scholars in Yuan and Ming dynasties accept the scholar's works were special politics background at that time and study styles, which was manifest the stamp of the age. Mean while, the scholar's value and life positioning, and the admiration to their poetry and pursuits of the dynasty both deepened the writers'feelings who are in Yuan and Ming recalling them.
