liu shu tong is a text book ,which was wrote by Yang Huan ,who lived in Yuan Danasty . The academic world and so many researchers did not pay so much attention on it,even criticised it as no value and no significance. I hope this thesis can provide a chance to be more comprehensive understanding of this book.This thesis first introduce the research status and evaluation of liu shu tong in the form of introduction.The following is text,which divided into five parts.the first part started with Yuan Huan's political career and academic study to introduce the writer aimed on enabale the readers to acquaint minutely of Yang Huan.The second part is the compilation purposes and the writing time of liu shu tong, it also includes liu shu tong version of the Imperial Collection of Four of the issues and select the reason for the work of master copy.The third part is to analyze the relationship of liu shu tong and Shuo Wen Jie Zi and liu shu gu, Academic community generally thought liu shu tong was published later than liu shu gu,which viewpoint was questionable. This part re-carding "liu shu tong" and other books about the inheritance relationship between the text.The fourth part is to make sense of the style and characteristics of liu shu tong.According to the pictographic style of liu shu tong to introduce the features of every Broad as the order pictographs,Ideograph, whether, zhuanzhu, jiajie, pictophmetic,so that readers have an overall understanding of the book. The last part is the value of liu shu tong, which is not completely useless, I do not exaggerate the benefits of one-sided. This part praised the advantages of liu shu tong and pointed out its shortcomings ,with the purpose to have a comprehensive understanding of its value for scholars.
