| The linguistic community not very concerned about the expression which we used to express "same" or "similar". "Tong yang" is an Adjective. This paper used structural grammar, semantic analysis, cognitive grammar to describe and interpret the word-"Tong yang". This paper also described we how to express "one thing similar to another thing" in Chinese, and found that this kind of expression often have specific characters and their own ways.Firstly, we found that in a sentence, the word "Tong yang" can act as a sentence element. "Tong yang" may modify Nouns, Adjectives, Verbs and a Pronoun "Ru ci". "Tong yang" also can be a conjunction.Secondly, we analyzed many sentences to find what element "Tong yang" actually refer to. We also found that this word "Tong yang" even have different semantic levels. So we built one analysis model to find out what kind of "similar" between different elements.Thirdly, we analyzed some special sentence types which often including the word "Tong yang". When "Tong yang" was used in these sentences, it usually have its own characters.Finally, by comparing the word "Ye" which is an adverb, we found that when Chinese express the meaning "one thing same/similar to another thing", it usually have its own ways and some specific characters. So we made categories to make sure they will not be confused to each other. |
