Many authors follow Yang's style when they are writing the poems for children.Yang Huan's nursery rhymes are categorized into long and short ones. Some of Yang's poems have plots and a number of them are expressed in the way of simplicity. His writing style is simple but full of imagination. Arousing children's interest is the basis for nursery rhyme; this quality of attracting children, as well as other features for children's poem, have been found in Yang's works after the research. Yang has added variety in his writing style and makes it more interesting. He has used lots of symbols, metaphors and personifications in his poems; in addition, his thoughts and ideas stay in his works until now.If we compare Yang Huan's nursery rhymes with the standards we set today, we may think some points in his poems are not up-to-date; however, it did not bring any influence to his contributions in children's literature. |
