| As an ceramics-supervising officer living in the period of the Qing Dynasty's Yongzheng and Qianlong emperor's reign, Tang Ying made a huge contribution and great effect on the official kilns. Tang Ying's character and his achievement of supervising ceramics is therefore a theme for researchers have been paying attention to and discussing. Based on the former people's researches, the author studies his native place and extraction, briefly dissertating his outstanding achievement in the course of performing an officer's duty, and analyzing the reason for Tang Ying's success under the historical background. Here, the dissertation affirms and summarizes the effect and historic status of the "Tang Yao (kiln named by Tang Ying's family name)", and in addition, dialectically analyzing how the system of the ceramics-supervising officers and the organization of the Imperial Workshops affected the official kilns of the Qing Dynasty. According to the study and analysis mentioned above, the author hopes the dissertation on Tang Ying can make progress towards getting complete and profound. |
