The cultural and art legacy of Tang Ying who is the most outstanding ceramic-supervising officer in Qing Dynasty is worth of well preserving and exploring.This thesis studies the impact of Confucianism on Tang's ceramic producing and management by analyzing Tang's Confucianism.First,Tang Ying was loyal to emperors and his country,therefore,he always thought carefully and racked his brains for emperor and tried his best to repay emperors' grace on supporting and appreciating his ability.Second,Tang supposed that father is affectionate,son is dutiful,husband and wife are loyal to each other,and established a harmonious family,which enabled him to supervise ceramic wholeheartedly.Third,Tang Ying was kind and considerate to workers and civilians,which stimulated workers' motivation and made the latter to actively help him make ceramic.Last,Tang Ying was diligent in practice and knowledge acquiring,therefore,he made perfect and creative ceramic.He inherited traditional ceramic-making techniques and created new methods,some of which were still mysterious to us.Tang Ying's achievements beyond reach are closely related to his Confucianism,which are of great significance to our living and study in modern times.
