Power is a concentrated expression of ruler's will,hobbies,aesthetic experiences,and even religious beliefs of the power-holders.Porcelain was the favorite of the emperors in the feudal society of China,and it was the symbol of power and class,which was even more during the Ming and Qing dynasties.In order to reflect the insuperable imperial power,there was a clear and perfect registration system in the glaze color,glaze color and ornamentation.The power of the emperors controlled various steps including setting up institutions,delegating officials,scheduling craftsmen,paying currency,raw material selection,and so on in the production system of the entire kilns,and finally reflected on the the ware of Imperial Kiln.Most of these power products were dominated by the individual will of the emperors and his aesthetic interests,and the power symbols of the power-holders were built and strengthened in this process.Although the aesthetic of the emperor was dominant,it would be influenced by many factors in the process of establishing the aesthetic system,such as its experience and preferences,or people and things.Through the methods of investigation,semiotics,and literature research,this paper combines ancient historical backgrounds and the relationship between characters,relies on the ware of Imperial Kiln as the basis to explore by the glaze,ornamentation and device types,which does researches on power aesthetics from different power structures such as time dimension,social class and spatial factors.At last,it analyses the aesthetic style and evolution in contemporary ceramics by combining with the influence of Imperial Kiln power aesthetics.
