Li Jinxing (619AD~683AD) was a well-known historical figure in Tang ethnic history, frontier history and the history of relations between Tang Dynasty and Korean Peninsula. This paper focus on Northeast Asia in the mid-seventh century, from the course of reorganizing Li Jinxing's expeditionary activities, discloses the relationship between Tang, Silla and Goguryeo,meanwhile analyzes the internal and external policy of Tang Dynasty, especially the policy to the northeast area. This paper also evaluates the historical status and the role of Li Jinxing.The main body is made up of three parts, including Li's family background, the experience in the course of managing to Goguryeo, the rebellion to Tang Dynasty by the Goguryeo's adherents, and the war between Tang and Silla. The introduction is the first chapter. The body part consists of the second, third, fourth chapters. The fifth chapter briefly describes his death and funerary Qianling case. And the conclusion is the Chapter sixth.The introduction (first chapter) describes the purpose and significance of the topic of this paper, The current situation of the research, innovation points and research methods.The second chapter discusses the situation of the Northeast Asia in the mid-seventh century and Li Jinxing's life experience. As a Mohe noble, Li Jinxing was born in a sirdar family, and because of the impact of his family and society, he had received a good education in arts and military when he was young. Based on the illustrious family background, he joined the army and experienced a lot in the army and was thought highly. When he managed Yingzhou, he made outstanding contribution to the peace among the peoples living on the border in the northeasten of Tang Dynasty.
