Study On The Vocabulary Of Xinshu

Xinshu was an important document in xi-han(西汉),the language of the book has the extremely bright characteristic, the certain degree reflects in xi-han(西汉)period language characteristic. To Xinshu the glossary appearance will carry on the system the research to be able to have the vital significance to Chinese history research. This article is an preliminary attempt which the glossary research does to Xinshu. This article utilizes the traditional exegesis of ancient texts and the modern linguistics,the glossary study theory, altogether when the description and the lasted analysis unify the method, the glossary carries on comprehensively to Xinshu has the system the research.The paper was made up of five chapters. The first chapter was the introduction; The second was about the characteristic of vocabulary in the book. That is the following three aspects: Synonym was massively used, universive content, polysyllabic words was massive emerging. The third was Analysis of the polysyllabic words in Xinshu. The fourth was the dictionary of polysyllabic words in Xinshu which described all the polysyllabic words appearing in the book. The conclusion was given at the fifth chapter.
