| Dunhuang Quzici is an important part of Dunhuang Literature.It has a wide range of content and strong oral language.And it is a very representative data for the study of Chinese vocabulary in the Tang and Five Dynasties.Vocabulary polyphony is a trend that can't be ignored in the development of Chinese vocabulary.This paper studies the polysyllabic words in Dunhuang Quzici,trying to reflect the characteristics of the polysyllabic words in Dunhuang Quzici,hoping to enrich the research of polysyllabic words in Chinese history and play a complementary role to vocabulary study.The paper mostly includes the following six parts:The first part is the introduction,mainly introduces the related concepts of Dunhuang Quzici,expounds the reasons and significance of this paper,combing the research status of Dunhuang Quzici and Chinese polysyllabic words,and puts forward the main methods used in this paper of researching polysyllabic words of Dunhuang Quzici:The method of exhaustive statistics and induction,quantitative with qualitative analysis,combines synchronic comparison with diachronic comparison.The second part is the first chapter,is the judging standard and general situation of polysyllabic words in Dunhuang Quzici.First of all,we refer to the method of judging polysyllabic words by the representative scholars,combines with the actual situation and determine the judgment standard of the polysyllabic words of Dunhuang Quzici,this chapter according to the theoretical achievements of the previous scholars and the actual situation of Dunhuang Quzici,make sure the standard of judging polysyllabic words in Dunhuang Quzici,Which mainly includes meaning,rhetoric and word frequency.Secondly,according to the established criteria for judging polysyllabic words counted out there are 3269 polysyllabic words in Dunhuang Quzici.According to the difference of content and nature of the polysyllabic words of Dunhuang Quzici,this paper divides the words into three categories:Proper nouns(118),Buddhism polysyllabic words(196),and General polysyllabic words(2955).In order to more clearly reflect the structure and characteristics of the polysyllabic words in Dunhuang Quzici,this paper classifies the polysyllabic words according to the Chinese word formation method,mainly including two categories: single and compound polysyllabicwords.The third part is the second chapter,is the single polysyllabic words of Dunhuang Quzici.This chapter mainly describes the single polysyllabic words(107)in Dunhuang Quzici,It mainly includes: Lianmian words,reiterative words and transliteration words.In order to present the characteristics of the single polysyllabic words in Dunhuang Quzici more clearly and intuitively,this paper describes and analyzes each classification from the aspects of part of speech,syllables,and phonology.The speech of single polysyllabic words in Dunhuang Quzici mainly includes nouns,verbs and adjectives There are both monosyllabic words and polysyllabic words,Generally speaking,it is mainly disyllabic words.The fourth part is from the chapters third to the fifth,This part we mainly investigate the compound polysyllabic words in Dunhuang Quzici.And This is the main part of this paper,and it is also the main part of the polysyllabic words in Dunhuang Quzici.These three chapters focus on the description of 3044 compound polysyllabic words in Dunhuang Quzici,mainly including:juxtaposition,partial formality,dominance,subject predicate,supplement,additional and overlapping.According to the structural characteristics of all kinds of compound polysyllabic words,this paper describes respectively from the aspects of semantic composition,part of speech composition and word order composition,we also calculated each ending The number and proportion of the polysyllabic words,Construction type are the most formal,the second is juxtaposition,and the other structures are relatively less.The fifth part is the sixth chapter,is about the characteristics of the polysyllabic words in Dunhuang Quzici.This chapter mainly analyzes the characteristics of the polysyllabic words in Dunhuang Quzi through the comparative method of synchronic and diachronic.According to the word formation and usage of polysyllabic words in the representative works of the same period and different periods,and summarize the characteristics of disyllabic and polyphony words in Dunhuang Quzici:The number of polysyllabic words is considerable,the structure type is complete,and there is imbalance between phonetic word formation and grammatical word formation;Grammatical word formation is the main way of word formation;the number and proportion of polysyllabic words of various structural types are unbalanced,and the modified formation polysyllabic words have absolute advantages.The sixth part is the seventh chapter,is about Dunhuang Quzici and the revision ofChinese Dictionary.This chapter mainly studies the relationship between the polyphonic words of Dunhuang Quzici and the revision of Chinese Dictionary,The relationship is specifically as follows: supplementing unreceived words;supplementing and revising the uncollected or received meanings of the words in Chinese Dictionary;as well as supplements and advance documentary evidence. |
