The Study On Xie Zhaozhe's Poetic Comments: Xiao Cao Zhai

Poetic Comments:Xiao Cao Zhai was written by Xie Zhaozhe.He was a man of letters between 1567 and 1627 in Fujian during the late Ming Dynasty and had undergone the political and social transformation of the entire Wangli Dynasty.He was insightful,diligent,productive and was regarded as a remarkable scholar at the time.He and His works have attracted increasing attention during the past few years and his literary position has been affirmed by those researchers.Taking Poetic Comments:Xiao Cao Zhai as the research object,and from the perspective of Xie Zhaozhe's status as a litterateur,the thesis is expected to analyze its poetic viewpoints and to uncover the state of mind of Xie Zhaozhe.The thesis consists of the following five sections:The first section is foreword,which mainly about the significances and purposes of the study.Through a research on formers' achievement in this field,this section is meant to emphasize the concepts and characteristics of this thesis.Chapter one generalizes the outline of Poetic Comments:Xiao Cao Zhai, including the author' life,his works and the editions,style,main ideas and intention of Poetic Comments:Xiao Cao Zhai.Chapter two is expected to analyze the poetic viewpoints in Poetic Comments: Xiao Cao Zhai.Not only did it make use of the points of some former scholars,but it also possessed some creative views.The thesis attempts to generalize from three respects:poetic essence,tendency and creation.Chapter three is centered on uncovering the state of mind of Xie Zhaozhe. Influenced by the idea of emancipating the mind,he displayed an unconventional state of mind,which could be perceived form Poetic Comments:Xiao Cao Zhai.The last section is the conclusion which deals with two aspects:the demerits of Poetic Comments:Xiao Cao Zhai;the generalization of the contents and position of its poetic views and the state of mind of Xie Zhaozhe.
