In this paper, we firstly outlined the collective efficacy, and demonstrated the conversion from the individual efficacy to the collective one, and the concept, formation, measurement and effect mechanism of teacher collective efficacy, etc.. And then, we combed through the relationship between the teacher occupational stress and strain, and summarized the intermediate effect of teacher efficacy as the personal cognitive system on their relationship. At last, based on the reported research results, this work will extend the application of teacher collective efficacy to the field of school education, and discuss the moderating effect of teacher collective efficacy in the school education environment on the relationship between the teacher self-efficacy, occupational stress and strain after verifying their certain relationship. In order to examine the moderating effect of teacher collective efficacy in the school education environment on the relationship between the teacher self-efficacy, occupational stress and strain, the questionnaire survey was conducted in 708 teachers from 30 primary and middle schools in the cities of Shenyang and Anshan of Liaoning Province. The result indicates that teacher collective efficacy and self-efficacy show the remarkable opposite prediction effect, respectively. However, after controlling the school type, teacher collective efficacy exhibits moderating effect on the relationship between self-efficacy and occupational strain reaction, and teacher collective efficacy and self-efficacy have the same prediction effect, which may enhance the opposite prediction effect between teacher collective efficacy and self-efficacy.
