In recent years, teaching is all along considered one of the most stressful professions. There have been a great number of studies in the education and psychology fields, but few researches about the pressure of TCSL teachers and even fewer studies on the relationship of occupational stress and sense of teaching efficacy. This essay does the research on the occupational stress of university full-time TCSL teachers and their sense of teaching efficacy and meanwhile exclusively analyzes the relationship of them through Questionnaire. The research results are as follows:1. The occupational stress is common among TCSL teachers and two thirds of them believe they suffer big or extremely big pressure. TCSL teachers feel increasing stress first and then the stress gradually decreases with the rise of teaching age or physical age. The difference of occupational Stress on different faculty rank is significant and the lecturers shall bear the biggest pressure. The stress difference of TCSL teachers on different gender and educational level is not remarkable. The biggest stress comes from scientific research, career development and various evaluations.2. TCSL teachers' personal teaching efficacy is higher than their general teaching efficacy. The total score and personal teaching efficacy are correlative with teachers' school age(age) and demonstrate the high-low-high tendency; the difference of personal teaching efficacy of TCSL teachers on different faculty rank is significant; The difference of teaching efficacy on different educational level and different gender isn't significant.3. The total score of occupational stress and that of personal teaching efficacy are negatively correlative significantly. Teaching efficacy and its two dimensions are correlative significantly with career development,research,evaluation, teaching and occupational reward.To ease TCSL teachers' profession stress, firstly TCSL teachers should properly understand and have their own approach to the stress, while taking effective measures. Secondly the education executive department and the college must take TCSL teachers' profession stress into consideration and provide them with adequate material supports as well as spiritual supports. At the same time, the research tasks and all evaluation must comply with the actual situations of colleges. Finally, the society should increase TCSL teachers' social status and economic benefits and raise their awareness of the TCSL and gives more supports.
