On Composing Techniques Of Prokofiev Piano Sonata No.7

Piano sonatas are an important part of Prokofiev's musical works. It's surely to say that his piano sonatas are a combination of extension and innovation of the traditional composing concepts.The No.7 Sonata,a war piano sonata,is one of his late year's masterpieces with unique characteristics.Based on the research and analysis of the artistic features in the No.7 Sonata such as the melody,the cantus,the harmony and the polyphony, the thesis attempts to reveal the secret of reviviscence of the fading piano sonata long since the Modernism period in Prokofiev's works.
