Research Of Tanjing's Thought

"Tanjing" is compiled by the disciples of Huineng,who is a great Chinese monk.It is the only book that is named after "Tanjing" by a Chinese monk in Buddhism.It plays an extremely important role in the Buddhism culture even in the Chinese culture.Buddhism's basic purpose is to cultivate to be Buddha.So what is Buddha? How does Buddha show and how to become? All of those are the main content of Buddhism.In my opinion it is because that "Tanjing" has made a basic statement about these questions that it is called "Tanjing".From the angel of philosophy,these three problems is the ontology,the epistemology and the practice of Tan Jing.Vacuum is the core thoughts of Tan Jing and even the whole Buddhism.It is believed in Tan Jing that vacuum, from which Tan Jing developed,is the source of everything in the world.The ontology is a detailed description of it.The epistemology is the detailed description of sudden enlightenment,which is the way of recognizing vacuum. The practice is the detailed description of no thinking,the way of practicing the vacuum.This paper deals with the philosophy of Tan Jing through the presentation of these three problems.
