This topic is studying on the new wave movie of 1960 to 1970s in France. With the aid of the feminine principle movie theoretical analysis method, psychoanalysis, semiotics and other disciplines regarding the feminine principle movie theory auxiliary research. It attempts to address the special status and role of French new wave movie in the movie and feminine principle history, through historical reason which produced from the French new wave movie, social environment, female character's performance way, the feminine audience, as well as to feminine principle movie theory, feminine principle theory's promotion effect. And it attempts to inspect the breakthrough of new movie text in the feminine principle format through The Comparative analysis of a large number of the new movie version of the female role and female viewers in the Synchronic and diachronism context.This article borrows the research method of the feminist movie theory and comes to a conclusion through the comparison and analysis of the female characters in the movie of other eras, that is, the French New Wave movie at the forefront of the ideological emancipation and the second world women emancipation led the exploring and developing feminist movie theory to a so-called unprecedented situation in the aspects of plots, structural arrangement and the innovation of the female characters. Such era natures and theoretical foresightedness are unparalleled. The feminist theory of the vanguard New Wave directors seemed to reach a height that was not only rooted in but also beyond the era. As for the long process of inter-dependence and blend of movies and feminism, the French New Wave movies possessed explicit era nature and prominent innovation. Movies in this era headlined a good many female characters with natures ahead of the time ideology and regulations. They were the female characters that were truly progressive, positive and emancipative. Even in the eyes of critical feminist movie animadvert critics, this progress was of incontrovertible progressive significance. In my opinion, it was feminism that helped the French New Wave movies gain brilliant accomplishments, and, similarly, the new movies climaxed the feminist movie theory.
