As a special branch of world movie history, female film has already developed to certain scale since only thirty years later after the birth of film. When time comes to 21st century, Chinese female film has emerged as a new wave. The new wave makes the first decade of 21st century be a period with largest number of female film and deepest ideological connotations. With the arrival of reform and opening up and accession to WTO, big change has happened to Chinese people, especially the way of thinking. People's vision also has never ever been so broad. Nowadays, the prevalence of network makes the global information integration and the dissemination planarization. The speed of information dissemination has been out of our imagination. Under the help of internet, people can declare their perspectives at any corner of the world. Gender equality, fight for equal rights for women has always been a hot topic. But the network makes it become a discussion focus through the world wide. When this historical topic is turned into form with visual feature, it becomes a feminist film with definite meaning. So, the new wave female film ,it is very worthwhile our exploration.The whole exploration is made up of four chapters. In the first chapter, the effect of feminist thought on the Chinese new female film will be presented. We will focus on the theoretical history of feminist in different countries, the explanation about feminist film and the art features of female film in various period of China. In the second chapter, The rebel, jocosity and deconstruction of new wave female film on androcentrism will be discussed. As the important part of this paper, it will elaborately introduce the world in female directors'insight. It will present how they analyze the female character features by using feminist theory and how they look the building of female characters in male political talks. The third part mainly concentrates on the interpretation of female characters from the point of 21st male directors. These male directors primarily focus on the sympathy and criticism on that unfair phenomenon. Because of different standpoint, the describing angle and viewpoint between male and female directors may have some distinctions. The fourth chapter is about"flower links to flower","sisterhood love"------modern myth. This kind of myth will become the most complete female campaign in the world, which is so called lesbians film.
