As a high value-added industry of tourism, tour souvenirs have been paid great attentions by more and more countries. As one of the top five tour countries in the world, tour souvenir market of our country has great potential. This article illustrates on the design and popularization of tour souvenirs from four perspectives: function, region, jewelry design and marketing. In addition, this article puts forward the importance of regional differences in the course of research on tour jewelry souvenirs.This article deeply studies on the concepts and eight features of tour souvenirs, the strategies of jewelry design and marketing strategies. On the other hand, it demonstrates on the times current of tour souvenirs from three aspects, namely the differences between tour jewelry souvenirs and traditional tour souvenirs, the current situation and developing trend of tour souvenirs. In a word, this article emphasizes on the two major tourism development strategies:Firstly, the design strategy of tour jewelry souvenirs should begin with the five themes of design and generally use ten kinds of visual elements of tour sites. Secondly, the marketing strategy of tour jewelry souvenirs should be based on six ways of creative thinking manners as followings: market selection, advertising, sale means, self-protection of rights and interests.In a word, this article systematically analyzes from the aspects of the background and significance of tour jewelry souvenirs, the product features and positioning, the special meanings and usages as well as the material positioning, design strategies and the specific implements (materials, shapes, prices, etc.). As to the market promotion, this paper probes and summarizes from the perspectives of market selection, product publicity and promoting strategies. Taking Beijing as an example, with systematically analysis of local social survey, tourism resources summarization and design positioning, this paper also provides us a factual theories and basis for the orientation and popularization of tour jewelry souvenirs. This article presents feasible suggestions of the trend of tour jewelry souvenirs and how to promote their developments on the basis of analysis, survey and case study, with many examples of tour jewelry souvenirs designs.
