The Study On Radicals Jin In Shuowenjiezi

Shuowen jiezi(说文解字)is a really Chinese dictionary in China,and it is also a literary book which analyses the original forms of character and explains the means of characters.Shuowen jiezi not only make it clear the theory of Chinese character's original history and the model about how to invent the Chinese character,but also had conserved all of the Chinese characters'Zhengti(正体)and Chongwen(重文)after shangzhou dynasty.It's very valuable to study.Shuowen jiezi contains 9350 Zhengtis and 1163 Chongwens.Xu Shen divided these characters into 540 categories.Jinbu(巾部)is one of them, and Jinbu(巾部)contains 79 Chinese characters which consist of 62 Zhengtis,8 Chongwens and 8 Xinfuwens(新附文).Earlier scholars often studied Jinbu(巾部)according to Xu Shen's methods which emphasized on analyzing every character,and studied every character from one category to another.Although they had got great scholarly achievements,they have not studied all characters of Jinbu(巾部)systemati cally.The paper studies Jinbu(巾部) as a main object,and based on the performance of earlier scholars,the paper studies the means,origin form,Chongwens,culture implication of all Jinbu(巾部)'s characters in Shuowen jiezi.The study has discoveried the means of origins of Jinbu(巾部)'s characters,changed theory from shanggu periods to nowadays of,and the reason why people invented Chongwens.Specially the study try to look for the reasons why some characters belong to Jinbu(巾部) in Jiaguwen(甲骨文),but not in Shuowen jiezi,some characters belong to Jinbu(巾部) in Shuowen jiezi,but not in Jiaguwen(甲骨文),and some characters belong to Jinbu(巾部) in the form but not actually.
