A Study On Chinese Word-teaching To Thai Learners Based On The Comparison Of Word-building Between Chinese And Thai

Analyze all of the Chinese vocabulary's word formation in two sets of Chinese teaching materials that are in common use in Thailand, the data show that using word formation methods into teaching have a certain sense. On the base of this analysis and the Thai Language and from the point of Chinese-Thai word-building, we get the most important and most representative types of word formation both of Chinese and Thai and we find the different or same aspects between them.According to the comparison, we draw up the experimental program at a certain school in Thailand. Using group teaching and testing the use of word-building inspection methods to investigate the results of the experiments. Experiments show that use of word-building for the teaching of Chinese words is quite effective. Particularly the word formations with a relatively high rate of the vocabulary of Chinese-Thai have notable effects. On the basis of the experiments, we hope that can get some useful and specific teaching methods what are based on the word-building.
