| In English teaching, writing in English is difficult to students, which is one of the weaknesses in English teaching and learning. According to the analyzing of the present condition of English writing of the senior students, there is a common problem that lots of students have nothing to express before writing, if any, the language is flat and monotonous. On the contrary, English curriculum itself is rich in resources. Therefore, in this thesis we focus on the practice of the development and utilization of English curriculum resources in English writing.Firstly, the paper analyzes the present condition of the English writing of senior students and the development of the teaching of English writing.Secondly, the paper introduces the present condition of the research into English curriculum resources, analyze the concept, characteristics and content of English curriculum resources. Based on the theory and the practice of the development and utilization of English curriculum resources, English writing resources can mainly be classified in the following aspects: make best use of the English textbook according to teaching practice; develop English network resources with the help of modern medium technology; develop English literature resources according to students' needs; develop English newspaper and magazine resources according to hot issues; develop broadcasting and televising resources to broaden ways of input and develop English resources in students' daily life.Thirdly, the paper elaborates the theory foundation of research, Krashen's Input Hypothesis and Information-Processing Psychology, and educes the research enlightenment, which provides theoretical guidance for the practice of the development and utilization of English writing resources based on English curriculum resources.Fourthly, the paper attaches much importance to the development of English curriculum resources and the utilization in English writing of senior school students.Finally, the paper draws the research conclusion based on the analysis of data acquired from the questionnaires and interviews in the research: developing and utilizing English curriculum resources are of great benefit to students' English writing, students' active attitudes, students' study methods and teachers' professional development. And we also advance the following improving suggestions according to the problems occurring in the research: to promote the cooperation of teachers, to improve teachers' qualities, to use curriculum resources efficiently, to perfect the management of curriculum resources, to attach importance to students' development and to enhance the exchanges of teachers and students. |
