On Chinese Idiomatic Phrase Culture In TCFL

The Chinese culture is broad and profound. It comes from the long-term Chinese history. It is important to teach Chinese culture in the teaching Chinese as a foreign language. The language is the unavoidable way for the foreign learner to understand the Chinese culture, understand the Chinese society and open Eastern culture in a veil of mystery. But in Chinese the massive idioms, and proverbs are difficult for learners to take close to Chinese language. It is necessary to learn these original ways of expressing, thus overcoming the obstacles and opening the window of the Chinese culture.This article is written for exploring the orientation and the implementation in Chinese culture teaching, taking Chinese characteristic idiomatic phrase as the research angle of view.To be highly spotlighted, we have to be clear that the idiomatic phrase is part of lexicon, that idiomatic culture is part of culture, and that idiomatic culture teaching is in the science of culture teaching. In the prospect of Chinese idiomatic phrase, not much research is developed in the process of Chinese culture teaching and learning. There are various reasons to account for the condition, like how and when the teacher achieves the Chinese idiomatic phrase into the culture teaching. This article tries to discuss the Chinese idiomatic phrase in the Chinese culture teaching of TCFL.
