With the development of the study of life quality and Subjective well-being(SWB), as the most important index of SWB, life satisfaction received more attention. The study of life satisfaction about the every ages and special communities has been nearly fully researched, but research on the minor nationality is still imperfectional. Junior school students are in a special stage of their life and are going through physical and psychological changes. Their personalities and values begin to take shape and are not stable. Meanwhile, parents are not only the material guarantees,but parental rearing patterns also have a significant influence on the life satisfaction of students. And our country is a multinational country, so different nationalities have different culture. Therefore, in order to improve and enhance youngsters'life quality of the minor nationality and the level of their psycho-health, it's theoretically and practically significant to explore the difference of the parental rearing pattern, the coping style and the life satisfaction between han and hui students and to investigate the interaction among them, so that they can form sound personality and values, confront their life actively, and in turn have more experience of well-being.Using the Egna minnen aV Barndoms Upfostran drawn by C.Perris, the Life Satisfaction Scales Applicable to Chinese Adolescent Students drawn by Zhangxinggui and the Coping Style Scale of Middle School Students drawn by Huangxiting, the author tested 677 han and hui students. The results are demonstrated as following:1. The study satisfaction, family satisfaction and whole life satisfaction of han students were generally higher than that of hui ones. No obvious sexual and grade difference exist in han students, but obvious sexual difference exists in hui students. Female hui students have higher degree of the whole life satisfaction, family satisfaction and school satisfaction than male ones. If parents separate has a significant influence on the students life satisfaction.2. The fathers of Han students show more emotional warmth and understanding to their children than the fathers of Hui ones. The mothers of Hui students have stronger tendency of rejecting and denying, giving stricter punishment and taking more care of subject than those Han's mothers do. And the fathers of Hui students take more care of subject than those Han's fathers do. Visible difference can be found in han and hui students in different sex and grades among the parental rearing pattern.3. Han students more tend to adopt the coping style like problem-solving, help-seeking and feeling ventilation than hui students. No obvious sexual and grade difference exist in them.4. The parental rearing pattern is closely related to life satisfaction of han and hui students. 18.6% of the whole life satisfaction of han students can be explained by fatherly affection, understanding, chastisement, sternness and motherly affection, understanding, refusal, denial. And 10.1% of the whole life satisfaction of hui students can be explained by motherly chastisement, sternness, affection and understanding.5. The coping style is also closely related to han and hui students. 25.3% of the whole life satisfaction of han students can be explained by problem-solving and help-seeking, and 15.0% of the whole life satisfaction of hui students can be explained only by problem-solving .
