Relationship Among Parental Rearing Styles,Shame And Coping Styles Of Junior High School Students

By taking parenting style as a breakthrough point,the relationship between parental rearing patterns and coping styles of junior high school students was discussed,and the role of shame feeling in this relationship was further investigated.Junior high school students’ physiological maturity and rapid development of self consciousness are easy to produce shame.It is a kind of negative emotion with great significance.It has an important influence on the study and life of junior high school students,and has a close relationship with the coping style.And shame emotions are likely to be influenced by parental rearing patterns.They can find the relationship between the parents’ parenting style,shame and coping style between the three,explore their mutual influence mechanism,get the law of junior middle school students’ psychological development,and have a more comprehensive grasp and understanding of the mental health development of junior high school students.But at present,the research on this part is relatively scarce in China.The "simple parenting style scale","middle school student shame sense scale" and "middle school student coping style scale" were used as measuring tools to measure 479 junior high school students.The results were analyzed by Chinese version of SPSS17.0,using descriptive statistics,reliability and validity analysis,Dan Yin’s variance analysis,independent sample T test,and correlation.After analysis and regression analysis,the following conclusions can be drawn.(1)there was no significant difference in parental rearing styles,shame and coping styles between boys and girls.(2)the overall level of shame of junior high school students has significant difference in the grade,and there is no significant difference in gender,parents’ educational level and occupation.(3)the lower the mother’s educational level is,the more junior middle school students are to adopt the way of patience and avoidance.(4)there is a significant correlation between junior middle school students’ parental rearing styles,shame and coping styles 22.(5)shame has a partial mediating effect between family rearing patterns and coping styles.
