The Correction And Annotation Of Five Notes Of Ruan An

Kuang Zhouyi(1861—1926),whose given name was Kui Sheng,assumed name was Ruan An and Hui Feng,was a commoner born in Lingui of Guangxi province in Qing Dynasty.He won a successful candidate in the imperial examinations at the provincial level in the fifth year of Qing emperor Guangxu.In the late era of Qing Dynasty,he hold a post of the secretary of the ministry.Then,he led a wandering life in many places,such as Yangzhou,Wuchang,and Nanjing.And he became one of the assistants of Duan Fang,who was the Liangjiang stadholder.In the forepart of the Republic of China,Kuang Zhouyi posed as an old fogy in Shanghai,making live with his pen.Kuang Zhouyi excelled at composing Ci poem,and he was regarded as one of the four best excellent Ci poets in the late era of Qing Dynasty.His work "Hui Wind Notes and Comments on Ci" affected greatly in the history of Ci poem's study."Five notes of Ruan An" is the masterpiece of Kuang Zhouyi's note works.This work's content is very rich.In the aspect of literature,the note retained Kuang Zhouyi's theoris of Ci poem,transcribed many poems of famous poets,recorded some stories of literary world. In the aspect of history,the note recorded many characters,history events and the decrees and regulations system of middle and late era of Qing Dynasty.In the aspect of epigraphy,the note retained the description of numerous inscription on stone tablet and bronze utensils,and summarized some epigraphy experience.The note also included many knowledge about the Philology,the explanations of words in ancient books and the academic textual criticism.In addition,the note also made vivid description of local conditions and social custom of Sichuan,Guangxi Province as well as the cities of Yangzhou,Changzhou,Nanjing.These contents,is helpful to study the literature,especially kuang Zhouyi'theory of Ci.And it is also helpful to inquire about the historical characters and the original facts.Simultaneously,it is helpful to distinct and research,the inscription on stone tablet and bronze utensil. This dissertation is based on the edition of"Five notes of Ruan An",which is collected by "Hui Feng series".And I Collate the edition published in Guangxu DingWei year(1907)and Di Yi Sheng Xiu Mei Hua Guan as transcripts of this edition.On the basis of the correction and annotation,the arrangement and research of the original work will help us find the learning value of the work.
