In the Anti-Japanese War, the National Resources Committee authorized by the government implemented the special mineral hierarchy. Hunan provided the national government with a lot of debt materials, also made so an indelible contribution for the victory of the anti-Japanese war.This article attempts,basing on the study results of our predecessors,to make clear something about Hunan special minerals in the Sino-Japanese War by the collation and analysis of historical data. It combined the basic situation clearly, from the production and operation, management, transportation and sales, as well as its historical status and the limitations of the policy, to dirigiste policies and the National Government trading foreign goods to barter situation. In the specific period history of the Anti-Japanese War environment, the general production and business activities because of specific environmental factor, were to take unconventional management methods. So the National Government took a special mine hierarchy, established the management places of various ores and introduced some advanced production equipments. The establishment of the foreign trade thing houses was responsible for foreign sales. As the impact of the war, the transportation routes were constantly adjusted or changed. In the special Anti-Japanese War time, ore smuggling activities was also the anti-smuggling focus of the National Government. It was the same in Hunan. Hunan special Mine smuggling routes and the way were complicated and varied. The National Government and the Hunan Provincial Government had adopted a series of measures to deal with it. They had good results, to some extent, of the effective curbing the proliferation of special mine smuggling. At the same time, some incomes of Hunan Province's special ore's was also used for Hunan provincial government's economic development, providing the financial support for Hunan . Simultaneously the National resources commission established the elementary school, the hospital in the special minerals area, promoting the local economic development to a certain extent.In brief, Hunan Province's special ore made proper contribution and support to Chinese people in fighting against Japanese. There were some malpractices, such as the purchase price and production cost serious being separated, the influence from the war, the special ore production was beset with difficulties, it damaged the mine businessmen and miner's benefit to a certain extent ,but the special ore's positive role couldn't be ignored.
