| With the development of society,English, as a basic course , becomes more and more important in school education. Art vocational students' main task is to study, appreciate and create art works. English, as a required course in vocational colleges, plays a unique, positive role in improving the students' humane accomplishment, artistic accomplishment and the students' ability of using language.But because of various of reasons, the current art vocational classroom teaching doesn't form a ripe theoretical system. Many experiences and problems in art vocational English classroom teaching need to be reorganized and discussed in theory. This paper tries to accelerate the study of English classroom teaching in art vocational colleges so that it can be helpful to form a scientific English classroom teaching system.Through these ways it can guide teachers' concrete work in practice. It also makes a considerable progress to solve the current problems which exist in English classroom teaching of art vocational colleges so as to improve the standard of English classroom teaching.The paper can be divided into three parts.In the first part, the paper analyses the character and goals of English classroom teaching on the basis of the educational theory. In the second part, the paper analyses the problems and reasons in art vocational English classroom teaching.Based on aforementioned analysis, in the third part, the paper's suggestions are as follows:1. To carry out English level teaching.2. To improve the students' ability of communication.3. To strengthen students' humane education.4. To improve the teachers' professional ability. |
