《Guo Yi's Jing Yin》is a aspirate translation work of sutra in the early Tang Dynasty.More of it annotate convention sound which have been lost long.Sutra aspirate translation is not only needed by Buddha christian,but also the language material which are valued by the letter,sound and rhyme scholars in the past dynasties.Specially in Tang Dynasty sutra aspirate translation is in bloom.The compilation of《Guo Yi's Jing Yin》is propitious to the understanding of sutra aspirate translation of Tang Dynasty for us and is a very important reference material which is used for the research of hanyusuzi.This text compiled 469 items of《Guo Yi's Jing Yin》from Ke Hong《Sui Han Lu》Xing Jun《Long Kan Shou Jing》,Chu Guan《ShaoXing ChongDiao dazangjing》,ZhongSuan《Traslation of Fahuajing》,and found《the preface of Guo Yi's JingYin》among Yi Chu《Six chapters of ShiShi》and An Ran《XiTanZang》.In the preface,it is reported:"about 259 division headers." Accroding to《Huyu Dazidian》,all items are classified to 74 parts by division header.This text coordinated and classified these items carefully in order that the scholars can use these for research.The author think this text is the first time to coordinate《Guo Yi's JingYin》across-the-board and research it preliminarily.So this text has certain merit for literature.In research,this text preliminarily discuss the points o f phonetic notation according to the analysis of items,which will make for the thorough research in the future.
