The Folklore Research Of Compile Genealogy About The Peng In Susong

2006, Peng's Clan in Susong held a wide range of activities to compile genealogy together. The Peng in Susong is from five brothers who moved here from Jiangxi Province to shelter in the Yuan and Ming Pang, we are homogenous clan.In this paper, the process of compile genealogy, such as tracing, make payments and other events were introduced. The compile of genealogy is unprecedented in scale, such as people traced relatives a few times.one for the root, find the source of the Peng, one for the complete family tree, looking for relatives of diversion.Through field study, author understood some events of the process and the activities that compile genealogy induced, such as searching genealogy, looking grave, repairing tomb, etc., and through document study author looked up the difference between the new and old genealogy. Then to understand that genealogy reflect contemporary characteristics,the traditional view of some clans was inherited and changed by modern people.Because of different ages and different cultural experiences, people looked upon the compile and genealogy differently, the significance of their family tree is not the same for people,the elderly followed the tradition that respecting ancestors and tracing the source,they are keen to repair spectrum, young people are not agree, their clan consciousness is slowly weakening. To some extent the activities of compile under the amendment increased people's clan consciousness. But the situation has changed, young people are out to make a living, ang home are also moving out, fewer and fewer people stay at the village. For the tribe, the work of compiling genealogy is more difficult.
