As the Yuan Dynasty Neo-Confucian philosopher and one of the “Xiu Ning”nine famous philosopher,Ni ShiYi has played a certain role in the development and maintenance of Neo-Confucianism.And one of his main representative, the compile of Four books, valuing the study of his theory. This paper is based on the text of that book, starting from the academic background and writing process, which makes a specific analysis in three aspects: the theory of Li and Qi,the theory of human nature and the theory of effort(Gongfu). In the theory of Li and Qi,Ni Shi Yi think of “Li” as a world noumenon, and think the inherent meaning of Li is morality,From“Li identical and Qi difference”perspective, the root of the difference between people and things is put forward. Also pay more attention to the application and order of “particularity of Li”.And the difference between the Confucianism and the Mohist emerge a different political impact. In the theory of human nature, the human nature include Pure good and no evil's heaven nature and Mixed physical nature. The physical nature back to the heaven nature must have self-cultivation.He also think that the human feeling is also good in original and this solute the contradiction of "reverse type argument".The Public feeling isn't contradictory to the Heart of Tao,the Public feeling must be dominated by the heart of the Tao.In the theory of effort(Gongfu),the compile of Four books keep “showing the virtues of light”which focus on Li and still as central effort, regard“ge wu” ? “zhi zhi”and“cheng yi”as the basis, regard the relationship of theory and practice as the internal structure.
