Along with the college and middle school students' psychological question complication and the diversification, the psychological healthy school social workers' competence are gradually received researchers' attention. What type quality should they have to be able to be competent the job? How appraises it to be competent the quality the level of development and the characteristic? These questions are very important for the education of school mental health and effective implementation.From organization behavior study research angle of the staffs' competence, this article summarizes the competence of the school social worker and the mental healthy educator from theory and the real diagnosis angle, and analyze the existing researches' insufficiency and the limitation. In this foundation, this article profits the achievement from the quality about the mental health school social worker of the domestic and foreign, using the literature law, the observation law, questionnaire investigation and factor analysis method, was competent the quality structure and its the development characteristic to the college and middle school student mental healthy school social worker has conducted the preliminary exploration research. Concrete research content including three parts: (1) the theoretical construction of the competence of the college and middle school student mental healthy school social worker ,that is in the foundation of the theoretical analysis and interview law, construct a four lever of the first index of the competence, it including knowledge, ability, manner as well as personality characteristic, Then use the content analysis to refine the second index from the questionnaire and interview ,and initially construct the theoretical competency mode of the college and middle school student mental healthy school social worker; (2) the intercross empirical study of the theoretical competency mode of the college and middle school student mental healthy school social worker, that is according to the constructed competency mode of the study one and the results of the questionnaire, draw up the original questionnaire and modify it seriously, and then send out the questionnaire to the college and middle school mental healthy school social worker and ask them to evaluate the importance of the constructed competence, return the valid questionnaires, and then analyze the data with explored factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis in order to test the rationality of the theoretical structure and the validity and reliability of it, thus form a measurement tool of the competence of the college and middle school student mental healthy school social worker; (3) use the established formal questionnaire investigate the middle school mental healthy school social workers, and inspect the present level and developmental characteristics of the middle school mental healthy educators, and then provide the basis for training. Synthesizes this research, the results are reporter as following.(1) the competence structure of the college and middle school student mental healthy school social worker is multi-dimensional, and it is a multi- dimensions multi-level structures constituted by the first order 11 factors two steps 4factors. The first order factor including communication cooperation ability, affinity, interpersonal monitoring ability, incentives to achievement, practice strength, cognition, self-confidence, knowledge rich, knowledge usability, emotion and behavior; The second step factor include knowledge structure, ability structure, manner structure and personality structure.(2) The established questionnaire has a good validity and reliability, and can be used as a reference to employ and train the college and middle school social worker.(3) The present competence lever of the middle school mental health school social workers are lower than its ideal level, and it has a remarkable difference in the work duty, teaches population variable and so on in the discipline.
