Work and family are the most important domain in human life. In building harmonious siciety, the balance of work and family relationship has received more and more attention from various circles. The relationship of work and family includes conflict and enrichment. in foreign countries, many researchers have studied work-family conflict and work-family enrichment, but there is little about it in china, especially the research including the two sides is hardly seen. Now focusing on the middle schlool teachers, in our chinese culture, what is the structure of the relationship of work and family? What is the difference of the structure between abroad and our country? By using the structure in middle school teachers, what is the situation of the relationship of work and family? This research was designed to answer these questions.The structure of relationship of work and family about the middle schlool teachers, the measurement and the application of it were explored by studying literature, using open questionnaire and structural questionnaire. More than 500 subjectswere surveyed, and EFA, CFA, Hierarchical Regression Analyses and other statistics methods were used. The following is our main findings:Firstly, the stucture of work and family relationship includes four offset questionnaire: work-family enrichment (WFE), family-work enrichment (FWE), work-family conflict (WFC), family-work conflict (FWC), and ten factors: matter enrichment, emotion enrichment, work development enrichment, role enrichment, family resource occupation, mentle behavior spillover, motivity resource enrichment, family development enrichment,work resource occupation, and psychological factors. Except some difference in content, the stucture of the questionnaire is similar to it of abroad.Secondly, by item analysing, reliability analysing, EFA, CFA, nomological validity analysing, incremental validity analysing, we find: the reliability and validity of the work family relationship qustionnaire is good, and the items are reasonable.Thirdly, by using ANOVA and T-test, we find: there is significant difference in sex and spouse occupation on WFE. There is significant difference in spouse occupation on FEW. There is significant difference in sex and length of teaching, teaching stage, school type, job role and child's age on WFC. There is significant difference in sex and length of teaching, teaching stage and child's age on FWC.
