The article makes a comprehensive survey on the applied theory of Chengdu dialect research combining with the TCSL theory to improve the learning efficiency of Chengdu dialect for foreigners. The author discloses the principles of Chengdu Dialect phonetics, vocabulary and grammar quite detailedly, and also tries to analyze Chengdu culture reflected by the dialect.Dialect research, to some extent, is a quite important theory complement in TCSL. Dialect culture is an important part of Chinese culture. It is necessary for foreign students to learn some Dialect knowledge of the destination. First, dialect and mandarin have an effect on each other in Chinese. Second, TCSL theory has to be perfected in the aspect of the dialect research. We should pay attention to the dialect research for its wide-ranged usage.A survey on foreigners learning Chinese in Chengdu conducted by the author shows that not only the TCSL teachers realize the importance to study destination dialect, but the foreign students in Chengdu desire to acquire Chengdu dialect, especially the foreign students majored in Chinese. As a result, the author made a conclusion that it is necessary to research Chengdu dialect systematically in TCSL.The author concludes the dialect knowledge that is likely to be instructed to foreign students in Chengdu district. The knowledge includes:1,Basic knowledge about dialect and Chengdu dialect. 2,Chengdu dialect. The principle of learning Chengdu phonetics in TCSL is: Grasp the normal principles, review every exception. The principle of learning Chengdu dialect vocabulary is: Focus on common words, acquire situational language respectively. The principle of learning Chengdu grammar is: Get to know each grammar points, use well on several points.3,Chengdu culture. Chengdu culture includes: One, special location, abundant produce. Two, multiple religion culture, many places of historic interest. Three, humerous nature, rich trope. Four, enjoyable and leisureful life. Five, courtesy demands reciprocity. Six, family consciousness from appellation. Seven, taboo in Chengdu dialect., Eight, appreciation of the rhythm in Chengdu dialect. Nine, an immigration city. Ten, others.
