Man-land relationship has existed objectively since human being was born. All human being's activities go on in specified geographic environment, and both of them affect each other.During Yu and Xia period, China experienced huge floods that never happened in history. Facing to"vast floods", Gun and Yu led people to struggle with floods unremittingly one after another, and at last floods were brought under control effectively. Yu prevented floods by water control successfully, which had important influence on state forming and establishment of Xia Dynasty.Central plains gestated magnificent civilization of Xia Dynasty, because of advantageous existence and life environment of it. The He Luo Region which took the Yi Luo Plain as its centre, became the central dominated district of Xia Dynasty using its superior geographic environment. Meanwhile, from pre-history's huge floods to people'settled life and establishment of Xia Dynasty after Yu prevented floods by water control, during which, people's residence underwent outstanding transformation in terrain which was from"choosing hill to live"to"living on the plains", which reflected people's wise choice on residence in Xia Dynasty.Many-faceted evidences indicate that the tendency of climate aridness became clear gradually in middle-late Xia Dynasty, and became aggravating in the ending. Fierce climate led merchants to go south, and provided advantageous chance for Shang Tang taking the place of Xia Dynasty. At the same time, with the worsening of climate, people suffered the aridness greatly, agriculture had a bad harvest seriously, the economic basis of Xia Dynasty began shaking. In addition to Xia kings'fatuous tyranny, social contradiction intensified unprecedentedly, which caused Xia Dynasty to lose national independence finally.
