Since last century, with the introduction of western culture, china has been undergoing a more and more heated over the renovation of its painting. Although the parties disputed with a certain degree of rationality, but there is still great one-sided. The reason is: many of the modern Chinese Quartet (rock color) features paintings do not fully understood or knew enough. The common spectators can't really understand the connotation and the professional unable to jump out of the shackles of artistic framework, so people can't comprehend the meaning of the transform and make an objective and right evaluation. Whether you are the anti-innovator or the traditional continuator, the indispensable premise and foundation is fully understanding about tradition. Otherwise, any criticism would be blindness, or have huge unilateralism.In this paper, a systematic exposition of modern Color Painting materials in the form of language and the art features will be given from a historical perspective.At the time, an analysis about Color Painting of Modern Japanese influence on modern Chinese painting will be made from the current situation and development.From the perspective of the changing aesthetic concepts, discuss the possibility of the development of modern Color Painting in today, and provide some views about Chinese painting color theory and explore the possible development in today's new artistic environment. In addition, China has a lot of profound and traditional knowledge and resource, there should be a new re-excavation.
