| China is one of the four civilized ancient countries in the world.Painting art is an important part of Chinese culture.With the alternation of dynasties and accumulation of culture,painting style with Chinese characteristics has been formed gradually.However,since reform and opening up,China speeds up its integration with the world and interacts deeply with western cultures,entering a rather complicated context especially in terms of painting expression as well as aesthetic standard.Along with the modernization and diversification of world culture,Chinese painting has developed in terms of concept,color composition and expression technique.Heavy colored painting is a type of Chinese painting.Heavy colored painting develops in the context of modem culture and aesthetic.Traditional Chinese painting only emphasizes breakthrough in expression technique rather than performance of color materials.Conversely,by means of the developing and applying new materials,modern heavy colored painting constructs a new visual art expression with materials,color and texture beauty,suiting with modern aesthetic interest.The key of this paper was research on mineral materials of painting materials.Form and color are the two entry points of performance of modern heavy colored painting.In some cases,the performance of materials itself can be the visual focus of picture.The paper mainly expatiated the study on application of rock color materials in modern heavy colored painting from four aspects.The first chapter summarized the origin,purpose,meaning of this study.The second chapter introduced the history and characteristics of rock color materials.Chapter three expressed the development history and simple classification of Traditional Chinese painting.The fourth analysed the discussion and study on application of rock color materials in modern heavy colored painting creation by the authors own creation practice. |
