Ontological question is the key problem in the whole philosophy. Thus, Marx's theory isbound to focus on and deal with the problem. Only if we explore the ontological meanings ofMarx's theory, can we fundamentally grasp the essence of Marx's philosophy.Through the survey of translation and etymology of "being", chapterâ… distinguishes"Being" and "being", revealing that research on "Being" belongs to ontological domain."Being" is essentially an activity of "making being be itself" and has the dual meanings of"process" and "mode" of an activity. The mistake of traditional ontology lies in viewing"Being" as "being", thus forming an existing substantial ontology.Chapterâ…¡elaborates on ontology of Marx's philosophy, in which conscious activitiessubstitutes for the traditional substance. As an activity, "Being" in Marx's theory isn'tfulfilled by means of logic, but through social and historical relationship. It is this social andhistorical relationship that determines "Being be itself". As the relationship is a changeableand self-denying process, Marx's ontology is reality, generating and open. The natures ofhuman being and world are evolved in the historical course.Chapterâ…¢discusses the revolutionary significance of Marx's ontology, which focuses onthe real world rather than the pure logical domain, revolutionizes the views of traditionalontology and enables philosophy to be critical.
