The thesis paper, based on "the document of jinshi in Ming Dynasty", "the collection of jinshi in Ming Dynasty", "the list of jinshi in Gansu", "the catogry of jinshi in Ming Dynasty", "New document in Gansu"ect, conclues that there were 453 jinshies in Ming and Qing Dynasty, 161 of whom were in Ming Dynasty, the rest were in Qing Dynasty. Analysing conditions, characters and era changes of jinshies" geographic location, the article will state different roles of politics, economy, culture.Ming and Qing Dynasty, jinshies scatered widely around the province, river valleys and transportation hubs were dominated, manifecting centripetal and unbalance. They focused in Dingxi, Lanzhou, Tianshui, the number of jinshies in Qing Dynasty was more, extended more widely than Ming Dynasty. Generally speaking, the distribution of jinshies manifected east-dropping and west-rising trend, the structure of more jinshies in the eastern areas than the western areas were changing.In Ming Dynasty, 48 jinshies who claimed to have dual registration households, scatering 13 counties thoughout the province in Gansu. Dual registration households quest rural consistent 12 to 39 provinces and cities counties and districts, mainly immigrants exporter Ming Dynasty. Reflect immigrants in particular the military cornparision of the number of immigrants, a higher level of culture, immigrants of the Ming Dynasty in Gansu jinshies have played an important role.The geographic location was affected by various sectors, the build-up of local administration and the transfer caused a big drop in quantity. Economy did not play a leading role in emerge of jinshies, however, developed townships could produce a sound enviroment for talents. The population was resistant with the emgerge of jinshi, the advantage of population played a somewhat supporting role in it, immigration from advanced cultural areas was benifical. The difference among various periods, folklorms led to the changes of royral examination. More affection to education and the quality of teachers by local government, promoted the development of local national examination. The living condition of the household have some impacts on the emerge of jinshies.
