This thesis is made up of three parts:The first part retrospecs the study of Su-dai's essays. In this part, the investigations in this regard both by ancient scholars and by modern ones are introduced in highest measure.The second part is concerned with the background of Su-dai's life evidence of his essays and simple thought elaboration. Su-dai's life can be broken down into three stages: the first stage (319BC-309BC)—his first time of being the Minister of Yan Country; the second stage (308BC-290BC) -his second time of being the Minister of Yan Country and his first arrival at Qi kingdom with the task of sowing sistrust; the third stage (289BC-259BC) -his second arrival at Qi kingdom with the same tast and his success.The third part spells out artistic achievement in Su-dai's essays. The style of Su-dai's essays characteriqes in easiness and smooth, tactful and has the profound meaning. His wrriting structure combines main sentence with clause, in addition, parallelism and aiding, which made the orderliness of his essays is clear and understandable. Moreover, honest moving , tempts with the promise of gain and the adaptation reasons evidence from life made the essays to be tactful and has the profound meaning.
