| Yu Xiangdou, who undertook Remarks and Reviews while carving, was the Merchant of literature in Wan Li times of Ming dynasty and created two kinds of Remarks and Reviews about popular fictions which were Pinglin-style and Comment, thus he was the first man who remarked on popular fictions in Ming dynasty. This text chooses ten popular fictions with Yu Xiangdou's remarks as the research target, throws light on Pinglin-style from forming reason,structure character,theory contribution and so on, also, we give a thorough analysis on Yu Xiangdou's note remarks and poetry remarks. This article uses statistics,narrative,literature-history united approach and society culture criticizing approach to discuss Yu Xiangdou's remarks on popular fictions from fictions carve and fictions remarks,fictions remarks and fictions' spreading, summarizes the concept meaning and character of Yu Xiangdou's remarks on popular fictions and the position in the history of popular fictions remarks and the history of popular fictions' spreading.
