| Compared with other syntactic structures, the importance of the verb-complement structure seems more outstanding. The construction of the verb-complement structure affected the system of Chinese grammar very much. For example, the changing of the word formation of the verb and the structure of the predicate, the appearance of the morphological token of the verb and the new syntactic structures, etc.Soushenji was the most representative collected works of the recording-weirdness novels in Weijin Dynasty. It had relatively dense colloquial color, and reflected the vivid and vigorous state of using language at that time. It is important to discuss its grammatical phenomena for Chinese language history, especially for middle-ancient times'. There are many verb-complement structures in Soushenji, but it is a pity that they have not been paid enough attention to.This thesis investigated them fully, described and analyzed them delicately, and then compared them with other historic periods' so as to offer some references for the further studying on the Chinese verb-complement structure in future. The thesis included six parts. At first, there was the introduction. It introduced the research situation of the verb-complement structure briefly. In addition, there were the research value and methods of the verb-complement structures of Soushenji, and the edition chosen of Soushenji.Chapter 1 was about the summary of the verb-complement structure, including defining the concept, classifying and the standard of judging, etc.Chapter 2 was about classifying and describing the verb-complement structures of Soushenji more delicately. In Chapter 3,I defined Liuchao as a boundary line, then discussed the development of the verb-complement structure in other different historic periods and compared them with Soushenji'.In Chapter 4, I discussed the factors that made the syntactic position of the preposition-object phrase move forward using the related examples of Soushenji. At last, there was the conclusion that summed up the main contents of the thesis. |
