A Research On The Verb Complement Structure Of Modern Chinese

The verb complemnt structure and its related problems are the main contents of the academic circles.In the past,we carried out research from the perspective of syntactic structure and syntactic relationship,but the understanding of the results category and related issues are rather vague.There is still a lack of a relatively unified theoretical interpretation framework.In order to solve the research confusion,this thesis firstly uses the absolution method,based on the understanding of the results of the past academic results,draws on the prototype category idea,proposes the theoretical hypothesis of constructing the dynamic cognition result category view,and focuses on the dynamic complement(object)structure.Secondly,in order to explain the internal membership of the result category and its function,using the analysis model of event construction,the results of the two syntactic structure levels are unified in the "achievement" and "completion" two types of event-construction framework.In the event of characterizing the transient state change result,the syntactic expression strategy of the result complement is used to form the result complement configuration under the framework of the "achievement" event;In the event that characterizes the appearance or completion of a new thing,the syntactic expression strategy of the combination of the result body verb and the result object is used to form the result object structure under the framework of the “completed” event,the event function of the result category is explained accordingly.Finally,the theoretical hypothesis is tested by corpus,and the use of the category of results in two different types of events-construction and its syntactic and pragmatic function are summarized.The research results show that constructing the category view of cognitive results can provide a new analytical perspective for the in-depth study of the dynamic complement structure and related issues.
