| In this thesis, we state general conditions of Yu-Pian.The main point of the thesis is heterographs in Song-edition of Yu-Pian. The thesis can be divided into three segments. For the first segment, the author , general conditions, development, editions and collation of the dictionary would be narrated. The second part is a summary on phonology and character studies of both Original-edition and Song-edition of Yu-Pian. In the third segment which is the main core, we identify 3743 groups of heterographs in Song-edition of Yu-Pian by Liu-shu system. Then we research parts of heterographs which were falling into disuse, bases on a comparision between heterographs in Song-edition of Yu-Pian and actual Chinese characters.
