Practical writing is the earliest style of our human society, and it is also most often used in our daily life and work. However, traditional practical writing only emphasizes on teaching the students the basic form and ignores to teach them to master the basic technique of practical writing. As a result, the students are led to a very narrow road, and can't meet the social requirements towards the secondary polytechnic school students, namely the requirements of the students with secondary polytechnic skills, who have general abilities and all-around qualities, and can work in the front line of production, service, technique and management.In order to let students grasp the writing knowledge and techniques during their school time to meet the developments and demands of the era and to let the students benefit from it for life long, our practical writing teaching should spurn the traditional way and adopt overall optimization principle to enable the students to learn to write and apply practical writing and in a relaxed and happy environment.The overall optimization principle of practical writing requires carrying out the teaching according to teaching effects and time consuming, doing research on the factors of practical writing and the reciprocity , inter-connection between these factors in order to reach the goal of overall optimization. That is"The overall function is greater than the total of every isolated factor". Thus the students'integrated and all-around abilities will be improved.
