The Effects Of Recognize On Separating Gestalt Of Chinese Character

Research assumption : Chinese characters with special planar space function are united in sound, figure and meaning perfectly, so compared with Latin characters, cognitive process is more stability. The experience explored: (1) The baseline of distinguishing defaulted Chinese characters; (2) The effect of picture inserted manner; (3) The influence of changing brightness.32 subjects participated in the experiment. The result showed that:Firstly, default manner of character part affect the distinguishing reaction time as well as accuracy rate significantly.Second, baseline and picture inserted experiments shows clear gender differences, but the picture's content showed no effect on cognition process.Third, picture inserted manner worked on stability of character distinguish effectively, especially inserting picture before characters printed. Brightness also impact the distinguish stability, especially for female.
