The Building Of The Network Society Ethics

From the perspective of historical development, every major human progress is always accompanied by an important breakthrough in technology. However, historically speaking, no one technology caused so many troubles and thinkings like computer technology and network technology. The integration of the computer technology and network technology create an extension, a new social forms-- network society, they exhibited tremendous strength, but made real society faced unprecedented ethical crisis and challenges. In order to eliminate many negative effects which the network brought, building social ethics control system of the network society is imperative, it is the needs of the times and socialist harmonious society. This paper elaborated certain characteristics of the network society ethics which based introduction of the meanings and characteristic of the network and taked the ethical dilemma of the network society as a starting point, then analyzed the causes of the moral controlled weakening of the network society, and finally raised to an ethical responsibility-- based network society ethical framework envisaged. This is the core of this paper.The full text is divided into five parts:The first part introduced the meanings and characteristics of the network society. In this paper, I define network society as a social form based on the network technology and it is a society organized by the digital person and existed in network space, and is the extension of the real society. The concret use of its meaning equates "cyber society", "virtual society". The network society has three characteristics: virtuality, openness, globalization.The second part discussed some characteristics of the network society ethics. Because of the virtuality,openness and globalization of the network society, it is different from the ethics of the real society in the following three aspects: First, autonomy, second, openness and the third is diversity.The third part inspected ethics dilemmas which the network society faced. The network society extended the human survival and the developed space greatly, but made traditional ethics faced with the stern challenge, fell into in the deep difficult position: First, sharing and protection, two, virtuality and reality, three, bureau territory and globalization, four, limit and freedom.
